Cick to go to The Structure of Love is Indestructible Web site

The Structure of Love Is Indestructible

The Structure of Love Is Indestructible is a ten foot high glass and stainless steel sculpture by Ross Matteson, which debuted in Olympia, WA, USA on September 11- 15, 2013.

This 5 day event was co-sponsored by the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters and 41 individuals and organizations who rallied to our "crowd source" funding campaign. The public gathered with our featured musicians, speakers and sculpture. The Structure of Love Is Indestructible monument's many doves in ascending flight are etched into brilliant glass, supported by mirror finished stainless steel. To many, it helps explore uplifting ideas about recovering from tragedy.

Please click on the underlined "The Structure of Love Is Indestructible" link under the firefighter honor guard picture (above), for more information.

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to share the sculpture of Ross Matteson with you!

Other than Punalu u (above, 2019, award winner at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum's "Prix 'de West Invitational"), this web site features a selection of Matteson artworks made between 1975 and 2013.

There have been many sculptures and art events, produced and documented between 2013 and 2020, but not here. A new Matteson website is currently under construction designed to share this more recent work. In the interim, you may be able to see some examples of this more recent work by clicking on the link, below:
